Deffskulls: Command
I made a start on my Deffskulls infantry this week, by painting up a few select characters. It gives me some HQ options (more than I need unless I go unbound, which until I loot some vehicles I shall have to do, as CAD based force only got me to about the 1650 mark, and we play 2k games at my club)
So that's two Shock Attack Guns, two Kustom Force Fields, and one... er... well I guess it'll count as a KFF until the day they put a servo harness in the Ork Codex...

Liking the lenses, not liking the idea of facing two shock attacks guns protected by KFF each.
ReplyDeleteThen you definitely won't like me when they nick some rides, early on my to loot list is a couple of mekboy junkas, as dedicated transports for my big meks... with shock attack guns. Got some cool bits that make a good conversion, got enough for two vehicle mounted SAGs... ;)
DeleteYou need a SAG on an Eldar Viper. And a couple of EJBs crewed by hand fulls of grots.
ReplyDeleteI've never felt the orks would master the subtle nature of anti grav technology - the stuff they get to leave the surface they just put a massive jet engine on and use pure thrust. When I looted a devilfish for a previous ork army I put wheel and tracks on the thing, made a half-track out of it :P Thus anything looted will be ground based. I plan to loot a stormtalon at some point, make a buggy out of it... :-P
