Wacky Tourney Review: Deffkilla Wartike


Finally some good news! This guy was a solid campaigner throughout the weekend. His buff ability to advance and charge is brilliant, with or without the Evil Sunz warlord trait to fall back and charge. His attacks are all very close range AND he's good in combat, it's almost like they put some thought into making him a specialist. He isn't quite as strong as a PK harbors but he's gonna be hurting most stuff on 3's and while tough vehicles need a 5 he does have rerolls to wound. I wouldn't think of him as a tank killer, but if he hit with his outta first and is just looking to finish it off, there's a good chance of that.

Do I want more of this guy? Hell yes! I'm gonna take one for the evil sunz (obviously) and I've decided that it would be good to add one to my Goff force (lot of kans and walkers) which changes the face of that entire army... I designed it as a purely infantry force. If I'm putting a trike in there, well I may as well put some other vehicles in there too... just ordered some more battlewagons to add to the force. Those big squads and ghazza need a ride! I'll still jump one squad in to hold the enemy up while they get there.

  1. Yeah, the Wartrike has always seemed like the best of the lot. Being a Character helps massively with survivability for things with a light vehicle profile, too.

    1. The character thing rarely protected me I was usually front and centre in the thick of the action :P
